In honor and in observance of “GivingTuesday” on December 1st, Councilman Mark Cuthbertson recently joined members of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce at IMC Meat Company in Huntington Village to encourage residents to help support the efforts of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s annual “Toys for Tots” drive.

“The mission of Giving Tuesday was designed to follow Black Friday and Cyber Monday in an effort to help promote the need for selfless acts of kindness and a fun way to give back to the community,” stated Councilman Cuthbertson.  “This mission was started four years ago to follow two of the biggest shopping days of the year and it is my hope that the spirit of Giving Tuesday will grow in popularity in the many years to come,” added Cuthbertson.
